19 Turning 20

Still 19 as of this hour.
And in an hour or so, I'm gonna be 20.
No longer a teen.

But I'll be forever teen.

Surely I'll miss some times of my being a teenager. Just as sure as I'm gonna be happy about growing, though not necessarily about growing older. I wish I only had to grow, and not become older.

I remember when I was like, 12, I used to think of 14 as really old already.
And now ask me what 17 years old is, and I'd say, really young.
So now whenever I'm tempted to think of 20 as already old, I remind myself that though I may not be officially a teen anymore, I'm still young.
I have an unlikable tendency to think of age a little too much. I've got to get rid of that.

I must say, I'm thankful for 20 years of living. I believe I have always been under God's saving grace ever since. Otherwise, I wouldn't be where I'm at now. Even though life now for me is not easy (to whom is it really easy anyway?), I can say it is blessed, all thanks to God.
So, cheers to us, God! 20 years of Your faithfulness in my life is something!
