No Animator

I can dream of becoming a web-developer or a system designer, but probably (and almost certainly) not an animator. This is in spite of my childhood dream of being an anime maker/creator/cartoonist. I used to draw a lot, and now that my projects and activities in school require much of animating stuff, I perceived drawing stills is different from animating 'em.

Animation can prove to be a tedious job. Very well then, I'll draw, and then others can animate.

Right now I'm in the middle of creating an Adobe After Effects-generated animation for a cellphone commercial as a project in school. And in the process, I'm studying effects after effects after effects - and thus the name of the software. For me at least. It's a pretty amazing (both pretty and AWE-mazing) thing to have AE on your PC.

I must say I really do give tons of credit and applause to VideoCopilot.net. I wouldn't know where to pick up the know-how (and sometimes the know-why) around AE, from the fundamental to the kind of advanced ones conveniently if not for the video tutorials there. And I admit, I used some of the tricks available from those tutorials for my project and tweaked and combined them, kind of.

How were humans able to create such an astounding software as After Effects? And to think, that's just one of thousands of incredible software. You really can't help but be amazed and be curious how.

Well guess what? The most ironic thing imaginable just... is in reality. Tomorrow I am going to receive an award as best in animation. WHAT?! It's just funny.
