It's Christmas. I mean, the day before Christmas. And we're but a few hours from Christmas eve! There's not much special with our celebration tonight if you look at it, but with all of us together (plus a few more people to join in) it is special to us.
This Christmas, I have bought myself a gift. It was a promise to myself that has long been suspended due to other more money-worthy expenses. This time, I did not let the chance slip by. I bought myself a new guitar! A better one than the first: it could be plugged to an amplifier, it's sleek, and a few more other benefits. I still love the old one, though I can no longer use it because its string-holder (???) looks as if it would snap off anytime (had there been any strings for a pulling tension), so I took off all its strings a long time ago. Since then, I haven't used it anymore, and I have been able to play only the electric guitar at church occasionally.
I thought I should share some pics of the new one with you.
It is like my baby. I think I might be over-protective with it. Bad thing is I tend to set aside some few tasks to play this guitar or search for and print lyrics and chords.
So we're headed for Christmas! What I love about this season the most are the songs. The songs that tell the story of the baby born in a manger a very long time ago. The God incarnate. Word that became flesh. When mankind was lost as can be, He came as close as can be! To save you and me. That rhymed, right?
Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for dropping by. Hope you had a good time, and may you have an even better time ahead o' ya! Warm greetings in the coldness (or warmth, wherever you are) of the season!
Happy birthday, Jesus.
Update:
I just investigated around this blog and I found out that the last time I posted photos here was May this year! Such a long, long hiatus! They were photos of a metal bar that I photographically bent. Eeeek.
See that post here.
