I still miss you...

Finishing college.
...

Our seniors' retreat has just been over.
I almost didn't catch the service bus yesterday morning.
It's always a shame when you're one of the last persons to arrive causing the delay.
The retreat house was on an elevated mountainous area,
overlooking the town below and the bay not so far off.
The view in the day was just as scenic as it was in the night.

I would be dishonest to say I didn't get bored.
Often I would pull out my phone to check the time.
But I had fun too.
We swam in the pool late last night after all the activities.
There was this other pool which was a bit of a challenge for us to dip ourselves into because the water was hot.
For some of us, it was quite too hot.
At first it was uncomfortable but as you adapt to the temperature it becomes relaxing.
It reminded me of a similar experience some years ago.
...

Last Monday we retrieved the final seven copies of our thesis manuscript from the bookbinding house.
When I printed all those last Friday, it took me some six hours before I finished.
Our inkjet printer kind of gave up after that.
When it was my cousin's turn to print, the colors started to get faded.
She tried to fix the problem by twitching the cartridges somehow, but it caused an error.
So at the moment we can't use the printer.

It's fulfilling when you see the fruit of your hard work.
It's relieving to witness it all come to pass.
...

Yesterday I received an e-mail from my brother that I got to read today.
We didn't have correspondence for a month or so, so it's good to let ourselves in on what's happening with each other.
...

I randomly, unpredictably, and rather inadvertently muse.
So the next thing I'm gonna buy is a little notebook I can carry and use whenever and wherever a thought pops up.
