What attaches a person to another? What kind of structure or architecture reside within the human body from which all this weird feeling come? Why do we long for someone, even if sometimes we're taken for granted by that person?
And when you hurt because of love, why does it hurt just so bad? How come it's so painful? Hunger is satisfaction; An illness is well-being; And a wound comfort if compared to the pain love can cause.
More often than not, life is unfair. When someone wants you, you can't feel the same. When you want someone, they don't feel the same towards you. And when the case is that you both want each other, you will cherish the other more than the other does to you. And when that happens, you'll hope they'd return the feeling, but end up frustrated. Worst is, you'll start to wonder if they really love you.
In the midst of it all, when it seemed so cruel to you, you'll begin to doubt love. It's like you've been hurt bad enough that you've lost the will to give it another try, another chance. You've waited long enough for the right one but failed and now you want to give up.
But this I tell myself: (and yes, it's a line from a song but I'm serious)
Love comes to those who believe it.
