Simply Updates

Sunday, May 9
I led worship in the morning. I was running out sweat all the while, even when it was done. I didn't feel so well.
I picked up the remittance from mom.
Then we took grandma to the mall and watched the movie of her favorite love team. We had so much fun, me, her, and my cousin.
I also handed three greeting cards for mother's day to three different people. First to the mother of a close friend of mine, though she's abroad. I left the card in the care of that close friend. Next, I proceeded to ladylove's house and gave her mom the card I had for her. Then lastly, at home I gave grandma her card, which was the biggest one, and I suppose the most special too.

Monday, May 10
We went out to vote. In spite of the long and winding pile of other voters, the heat, and the dust. Add to that the long wait, the slow procession. If that's the cost of exercising my right to vote and taking part in history and showing interest in my country, it's worth it.
Later in the afternoon I went out with ladylove to the nearby mall. My first time to dine at Tokyo Tokyo.
I e-mailed mom to greet her a happy mother's day, much to my conscience and guilt for greeting her a day late. I have a card written full for her, and another for my aunt. I plan on sending those to them one of these days. It's always better late than never. But I can't deny that it's even more better to be on time than late.
The pizza we bought a day earlier isn't all consumed yet.

Today
I woke up at noon! I was surprised that it felt like morning to me. Was I that tired to sleep that long, even though I didn't sleep too late the night before?
Painful throat is gone!

By the way, last week I got my copy of John Mayer's 'Battle Studies' and Chris Tomlin's 'Hello Love.'
