Reward

Ok,
this post seems late now, but, here it goes..

Well last Monday, the recognition day 2010 at school took place.
We were just in time when we arrived, although we were late technically.

And am I just so glad. I received two awards.

First was the Academic Excellence Award which was given to those who excelled in all of their enrolled subjects during the past school year. It was a certificate that goes along with a medal. A golden-laced medal it was. First time I saw one. My congratulations to my cousin also who also was awarded the same this year!
Second was the Best in Visual BASIC Programming Award. Surely I was so happy with it! It felt to me like my efforts didn't just pay off, but were recognized. Though in the middle of my exerting all those tremendous efforts into our baby thesis/project VB system, I never knew there would be such an award. As I remember, there wasn't such an award last year.

I'd just like to note too that in the ceremony, it was our grandma who walked with us up on the stage (yeah, both me and 'cuz) as our parent. She's 82 and kicking! I was just so proud of her. Our department professors admired her.. from her vigor to her blooming-ness, they couldn't even guess her right age. In fact, among the guesses, from 60, 70 was the oldest!

I was happy to be rewarded in a lot of things, and in a lot of ways.

Cheers to us, God! Thanks so, so so much, many much to You most of ALL!
We did it! Again!
Hahah..

And a lot of thanks too to my loving circle of lovable people.
