Rain, You Have Come

Rain, you have come
Upon this weary dry land
And made the lonely child glad
This is the shower we've never had

Rain, you have poured down
Over our heat-filled house
And refreshed this thirsty dwelling
This is the feeling they are needing

Rain, you have washed away
All the worries that came our way
And filled our hearts with vapor
This is when we see His favor

Rain, you have drowned
All the fears we've had till now
And now, vibrant and new
This is the gratitude we owe to you
