Hearts' Day notes

For a change,
a complete change,
today is
happy.
Positive.
Light.
Lovely.

My day started with the church service.
It was holy and sound.
What makes sunday the loveliest of days..

Then I spent time with my family during lunch.

In the afternoon, me and ladylove went out.
I don't know what exactly a date is, but I suppose you can call it that.
We dropped by a little booth for custom-made shirts.
We bought ours, and had our combined names heat-pressed on the part of each shirt just where it would be over our heart whenever we wear the t-shirts, and then our number by the bottom right. They were nice red shirts.
Hers and mine had the same pattern and design and color. I said we finally have our uniform...
We spent maybe more than an hour waiting in line there. So many people (or couples would be more precise) were having their custom shirts there too..
Then,
after the long wait,
we were glad our shirts were done.
And more glad that each looked good.
And most glad that we can now eat.
So we went to burger king.
After an hour or so, we went home.

At home,
I gave grandma the chocolate I bought just for her.
I did it in the sweetest of ways I could.
Next up, was the one that's for ladylove.
She loved it. Her eyes told it all.
She loved it all.

By nine, I brought her home.

Well,
we were kind of overwhelmed today.
We were thankful we had a nice, happy and lovely hearts' day..

Hope the warmth extends to you too!
heart heart..
