This is it

Ahhh..
This is the day we've been waiting for..
The reason for our countdowns, anticipations, excitement.
Merry Christmas to one and all..

I love this season..
I love this day..

Although we know this is not the exact day when Christ was born, or at least we're not sure if it is, or if it is not, we set this date to remember, (I mean meditate on) the birth of Jesus Christ. That blessed day when God came humbly down to earth for our rescue. When the Word became flesh.. When hope was given birth to.
Grace, and love too.
He is the greatest Christmas gift, the reason for Christmas Himself.
Indeed, He is the greatest gift we'll ever receive.

There's no greater love than that of God for us.
Hmmm.. John 3:16 sums it all up..

Let's try and forget all the happenings, gatherings, food and wine and merry-making and the party even for just a while, and remember the babe in the manger..
That vulnerable God incarnate, that silently-sleeping Saviour. Jesus.. who came to bring peace, life, hope, grace, salvation and love to us.
And in remembering, let us meditate. I mean, take it seriously.. be consumed with that thought, and only that thought.
And in meditating, may we realize what God wants us to. What we haven't realized for so long. What we haven't thanked Him for yet.
And may we comprehend how great, just how great GOD's love is.
