I must admit.
I'm also human.
I've got frailties.
And today, it's somewhat hard for me to tell what I must be thankful for, although I know there's a lot of them. But there's this hurdle that obstructs my view.
And that, I must overcome.
So to be specific,
I am thankful that I was appointed as representative for our section in our department, Computer Studies.
Our general assembly was held this afternoon where an election took place.
Beforehand, during the election proper, I was nominated for another office, but I gave it away, so the people voted the other party, who was, incidentally, my cousin. Quite reason enough why I gave the votes away.
Then when the time came to appoint representatives for each section, well, I was (here it comes; snare drum rolls for suspense) appointed. Some favor they have for me.
I'm thankful because it's a chance for me to prove that I can be responsible as an officer. This time around, I want to be so.
I was auditor during the previous academic year, but sadly, I was never really a serving auditor to our department.
So I better make sure I don't squander this chance.
. . .
At the end of the day,
your family's something you should and you certainly would be grateful for.
There's nothing like the love of a family. It dissolves any hurdle.
