I am simply so thankful that I made it through this day.
I was already in school at around 7 AM.
Then 10:30, I went back home to take a rest and eat lunch before I return for our 2:30 PM class.
Unfortunately, we got caught in a really really heavy traffic jam that it took the normally 20-minute-route home more than 1 1/2 hours instead. And while in the middle of that heavy traffic, it was extremely hot inside the jeep that I thought I was about to get heat stroke or something like that. Thank God I got nothing but an ample amount of sweat.
By 2:45 PM, I got back to school. Our professor didn't show up, so we had no choice but to wait for our 5:30 PM class.
That 3-hour subject was the last for the day, and inside the room it was extremely cold this time around, I thought I was about to have hypothermia. It was such a relief when about two hours into the discussion, someone volunteered to turn off the air conditioner, and as I have observed, I wasn't the only one suffering from the cold. Most of us were. Another relief when our instructor dismissed us 30 minutes earlier, so we got out 8 PM.
As soon as I was out of the huge freezer, I filled my lungs to the brim with fresh air that felt perfectly warmer, that I suddenly realized I missed the heat.
Not that I don't want what's here and now and look for what's not, but it's just that too much of anything is bad.
I got home so exhausted and feeling a little unwell (blame the extreme cold, or the extreme temperature changes), but I give God the highest thanks that I made it through the long day. That's what I wanted from the start. I kind of exclaimed "yes!" on my walk home.
I also thought I wasn't gonna be able to write a post for today. Apparently, I was.
Thank God.
Yes!
