so finally our midterm exams are over, after three days of two subjects each, and after having to worry about reviewing every bit of thing within a subject matter but really not focusing myself and time for doing so.
well just to let you know, this is how it goes:
first, i decide i will reread. (but just about more than half-decidedly)
then i'll procrastinate, thinking i'll be in better shape to revisit lessons some other time, rest assured i have more time at hand.
after that, i might find something more enjoyable (one culprit:computer games). in spite of this, the thought of studying's still at the back of my mind.
when i realize i've set aside my task at hand too much, i'll check the time and find out i'm all running out of precious time to do what i should before i end up not doing anything about it at all. i call this last-minute revisiting. this, is of course, really not good. in case you'd want to score higher in the exams, don't do this at all. but for me, i'm kind of used to it, though i know this habit should be changed in any way.
now, having less time than i once had, i'd do shortcuts and fast reading, just to finish every subject i had to study. too bad, hurried reading makes me understand and comprehend less stuff unlike when i do (yes, sometimes i do/did) it ahead of time.
but, if the exams include nothing else than what we have discussed (on days when i'm present, which are really really most of the school days, just to emphasize) my exam on a certain subject will be a blast, regardless of the small amount of review i had.
this is just another exam. in just about two months or less, final exams are comin' up. it's gonna be another bout of urges to do some preparation prior to the tests and accompanying urges to set it aside. but the next one's sure to be tougher, so i think (and also since i have shared this habit of mine through this blog), i'd be more diligent to study.
if you have any study tip or suggestion, please post it as a comment here. i'm really aching to find out what people (like you) have to share or say regarding studying. your suggestion, tip or even you simplest of opinions, would gladly be valued. so, thanks...
