full moon

saw bright full moon up in the sky tonight, shining like a huge flashlight in heaven hovering over me, surrounded by a thin but fluffy cluster of night clouds that accentuate its black beauty. it always feels good seeing such a marvelous sight, it makes me feel light and upbeat. funny though, (or is it?) that the moon tonight worsened the bad effects of the typhoon now impacting many parts of our country when it comes to fish harvest, for fishes seldom appear during typhoon seasons - so what are the odds of catching lots of fishes during a full moon on a typhoon season? hardly any. so ironically, the beautiful moon tonight might not be appreciated by most Filipinos. yet despite that, i believe there are more reasons to marvel at such a picturesque sky than to despise the phenomenon. it's just wonderful, i wanna fly up there and capture it with my bare hands. ...if i could.
