Deep deep, oh deep down, down

I didn't post about this then but I've finished Wuthering Heights last sunday midnight. About the same hour as this. Ah, well, what do I say about Emily Bronte's classic? Uh.. if it weren't for Mrs. Dean, Mr. Lockwood (the character of those two), and the happy ending that befell upon Catherine (the 2nd one) and Hareton, I would have TOTALLY disliked that novel. For one, because of his impudent character, instead of pitying him for his grim childhood, I shun Heathcliff for his grimmer attitude. And the first Catherine, Heathcliff's love ineterest.. talk about excessive selfishness. So anyway, so long, Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange; Earnshaws and Lintons; Nelly Dean and Mr. Lockwood.

This is the thing: it's time I read THE GOOD STUFF! (can also call it the FOOD stuff.) Ah, how come it took me long to come to this point? Like, what was I thinking, being so soaked in these novels and forgetting books like...

Honestly, (and part shamefully) this is quite the first Christian book that I'm going to seriously put my time and effort into reading, understanding, and finishing; only with the exceptions of The Purpose Driven Life, some devotionals, and other Christian reading materials. Though I don't think I actually finished Rick Warren's book from the first word to the last punctuation, the way I finish the novels that I read.

Chronologically, yes, that's quite the word to give you the picture.

I've dug a chapter deep. Imma be diggin'. Maybe you'd also like to?
