Slowly becoming an adult

I remember saying before
that this kid [acoustickid]
is a kid
that's not a kid.
But I'm such a kid.
Just went to Manila (Quezon City for that matter) yesterday
for an interview
in an internship program.
And I was such a baby in the big city.
I still get stunned by the.. er, I don't know what's too stunning about the city.
But I didn't get lost.
That's what maps are for.
That's what Google Maps is for.
And that's why I'm loving maps even more.
As for the interview,
I don't know the result yet.
But I'm hoping.
Not expecting,
but hoping.
And now that I'm looking for jobs,
going to the city,
and all that,
I feel like I'm slowly becoming an adult.
Well after all, I'm not that young anymore.
But still.
Guess that's just life.
But I guess I'll always be a kid,
though not necessarily very much literally like a kid. That would be shameful otherwise.
