So we've reached the half of June! Here's what's going on about me lately.
WORLD CUP FEVER
Surely the World Cup 2010 fever has hit the globe! And for the first time in my life, in an unexpected way, it has hit me too! Our country The Philippines does not have an entry there, but I am made up of half another nation which is The Netherlands, so I root for their team! Also for the first time, I was so excited when I tuned in to a TV channel and accidentally saw a football match going on. Only to realize that I was just in time to catch the last 15 minutes of the game! And it's most embarrassing and disappointing to find out it was the match I was most eager to see, The Netherlands vs. Denmark. It was a fine compensation that I saw the 2nd goal and that "my team" won, but it was a compensation unsatisfying, I want to see the WHOLE match. Well, I was so full of gladness and cheers over the second goal! I don't know why.
I don't have exact information about when and what time other matches are going to be aired on "free" TV here, and it's so frustrating, it makes me wish we're subscribed to cable TV right now! Where, if I'm not mistaken, the games are aired live. I want cable just until the World Cup closes. We won't need it as much afterwards.
RAIN AND/OR/AND/OR SHINE
Mother nature is certainly undecided. It's sunny and bright at this moment, but I'm looking forward to the rain. Perhaps by the time I finish this post the sky's turned gray.
CLASSES OPEN
..today for most back-to-schoolers and supposed to be in our school too, but for me and my schoolmates, the opening was moved by a week! To Monday. Yes! It's so in my favor since the support from mom's just to arrive this week. It was like school waited for me to be ready for it. As of now, I'm not yet.
