Happy Easter Sunday!

This is a very special day at church. First of all in the morning, I led praise and worship. And I was so happy about that because I can confidently say that God freely moved as we were singing for Him altogether. I mean, the power of His Spirit was so evident, it was overwhelming. It's always such a great great privilege to serve and be blessed to be a blessing, particularly as a worship leader, something I really love so much much much.

I was also blessed by the message shared by our Pastor. He spoke on the title: "He is Risen," imparting knowledge and understanding about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And it's the very essence of Easter Sunday. I remember he also told us the story of the first Easter Sunday, which I'm familiar with.

This Sunday was so full of fun, I don't know how I can put it into words. During our regular post-service youth fellowship/short meeting, there were a lot of "Yeahey!!'s" that sometimes it's almost deafening. We were so pumped! I give a lot of credit to our past youth camp/retreat just this past week for that feeling of revived-ness. I really love being with such a wonderful group of people who share the same faith and the passion for that faith with you.

Anyway, talking about other things, I really feel sorry I wasn't able to take pictures of the retreat and post them here, just like I said once before. Well I can't be blamed anyway, considering the only camera I have is that on my phone. And phones were given stern eyes during the retreat by the facilitators, which was just I think was right. This reminds me of my desperate need and want of a digital camera, specifically a semi-professional one. A lot of pictures were taken in the retreat though, but I'm not gonna post any of them here because I think they're a little private. And that makes me think, it isn't that easy to take a not-so-private picture during the camp anyway. So I shouldn't have said I was gonna post pictures here in the first place. But it's just natural that I wanted to share photos.

Going back to this day, I want to share a couple more things that made me happy today, aside from the fact that of course this is the day we commemorate the day Christ rose from the grave (did I say a lot of "day's"?)

In the afternoon, I watched the replay of the performances of AmIdol's top 8! Woohooo! QTV's Easter gift for me! I was so happy about this replay unlike any other ones before because I missed the show last Wednesday, when I was in the retreat. But I didn't expect they're gonna air that episode again, knowing that the only episodes they replay on Sundays are results shows. And they were off-air last Saturday for Holy week (performance nights are replayed on Saturdays), so I thought there were really gonna be no more replays: I missed the episode for good. But I was really glad they did re-air the top 8 performances @ 4 in the afternoon today.

Just a short additional, I have also received the 'thing' to tide-me-over-my-needs, from my mom. Remittance, at long last! (Heh-heh) It didn't go so easy though, but I was always ready for everything that could probably happen. I told myself a lot of times today: "Not everything will go your way. It's not always gonna be so good." And I was right. But things were solved right away, so in the end, it's also not bad at all.

So I can't help but be truly happy.

At the end of the day, me, together with my cousin, bought a take-out meal at the mall 'cause we suspected there'd be no food ready/cooked at home. And we were right. So this night, our family shared the food and ate with all pleasure and happiness - family bonding! It was so yummy, we loved it as always (thanks, Chow King!)

So there you have it, my short happy day. And another thing, this whole day I was smiling (only sometimes not outwardly), I can't remember the last time I ever felt so light and bright. So it was truly a happy, very happy Easter.

Wishin' you had a happy Easter Sunday too! :)
God bless.
