there is nothing important for me to say so as to make it the subject of this post. but i just felt like writing something new somehow despite not having a new and interesting thing to talk about.
last sunday, i had the pleasure of singing again at our church's praise and worship. i was one of the backing vocals on the platform, trying to make some blends with our voices from time to time. it has always been a privilege to be given a chance to be part of the music team and to be able to contribute something to the leading of the people to God's presence. as they say, i am "blessed to be a blessing." well i really do hope i am so.
on the other side of things, i have an impending project to make for my humanities class. we were asked to make a sculpture on whatever media we choose. too bad it isn't even underway yet. i don't have it in my heart to make it really. but if i don't let myself have the diligence to even start sculpting, i'm afraid of what my grades would become.
another impending task is a report in my environmental science class - one of those i dread. the environment has been an object of interest to me before. in fact, i have even thought of wanting to become an environmentalist one day when i was in 6th grade. but now it seems to be more of a thing of the past. the subject can be interesting still. i just don't like our class that much though.
my reading life. i have my eyes now walking through lines of the book 'Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teens Talk Tough Times.' what an interesting book it is! it's rich with inspirational stories of teens (like me) who undergo several hardships from the common daily ones (like me) to the most challenging ones (like me). i also love its stories of friendship i have read thus far. inspiring indeed. gives me comfort knowing i'm not alone in these circumstances, whatever they are.
i also am back now on writing a daily journal with 'Our Daily Bread.' it really helps getting a load of inspiration to get through the day, and at the end of it.
