exactly a week ago i got to see an eye specialist. since then, i had better vision with the aid of the new eyeglasses i got, thanks to my uncle (who has just left the country to go back to Europe with his wife, my aunt, last thursday, 07 aug.). i had an old one before that by the way, which i can say is already utterly old, though still useful. in detail, the black linings all around its frame are all but faded and it doesn't comfortably fit me no more... quite small. no wonder i didn't feel like using it unless i helplessly had to.

having a new one helps a lot with seeing whatever is around me and recognize clearly the difference between what's beautiful and what's not. so with it goes the ability to see the splendor of a beautiful landscape accurately, something that i could barely appreciate before my new eyeglasses came.

what's happier is that it looks kind of hip, i need not worry about the way i look when i wear it, unlike when i used to wear the older one.

this is the third one after my first eyeglasses which i had last september 2004 and the one before this that i've been using since 2006.
until now, i'm still keeping the wiping cloth from my first. it's always been good on removing dirt and blur.
