Word

it's sad to think people often neglect the word of God and settle for something else which they think in comparison with reading the bible is more enjoyable. they keep themselves busy with other things that they let occupy their time, and it's sadder that the giver of that time they spend for what they call fun is no other than God. and in speaking of time, i think there's no better time than now for us to just grab the bible and read whatever passage the Spirit leads us to internalize, before everything falls and the chance to be blessed by God's word is gone. it's so easy to take it for granted, thinking it'll always be there anyway, available anytime we want to have a glimpse of it. and for many, it's easy to ignore but it's so much easier to be blessed and be moved by it if we open our hearts and humble ourselves before God and just let Him speak as we read His word with a sense of humility. doesn't it make us glad to think that all we have to do is have the will to simply open our bibles to receive the endless blessings it gives?
