i listen to...

i'm into different types of music. i can't definitely determine what genre i'm really in to but there are these artists and bands that i become a fan of, when it comes to their music. and aside from that, i think it's kind of easier to define what music doesn't impress me that much...it's metallic rock, specifically. well, not generally rock actually, coz there are these rockish songs, or mellow rock songs that i listen to, which do not offend my ears at all.

as a Christian, i would say that my favorite Christian band is Hillsong Australia, including Hillsong United. i like most of their songs, especially the messages imparted by them. i also love their musical arrangements. they're very up-to-date musically and relevant and at the same time, Christ-centered.
i also am into the music of Amy Grant. i love her natural, "real people" attitude. she doesn't seem to be uptight when she sings and she's so genuine. and her music is of course unique. i like the way she delivers her free-flowing, relaxing acoustic songs and their lyrics are just meaningful. her half-husky voice is also cool...just right for acoustic.
on the other hand, ramiele malubay, jordin sparks, brooke fraser, neyo, and daughtry are also in my playlist. i like some of them as artists while some, i only like their songs but i'm not that much a fan of them. there's really a whole lot of other artists whose songs i listen to, so it's kinda hard to determine who's my all-in-all favorite.

yet to sum things up, when, case in point, i get to listen to a song of a certain artsist or a band and it gets the attention of my heart, then click! i'm a fan of the song... and i could be a fan of that singer or band too...
